About Us

We Know the feeling and the fix

We’re board-certified nurse practitioners with years of clinical experience. And we’re also moms. We know about hormonal shifts. About feeling off in ways that don’t always show up on paper. So, at Seraphin, we list. We don’t rush. We don’t guess. And we don’t stop at “good enough”

We know the limitations of modern Western medicine all too well. We have seen what happens when patients are rushed through appointments, when symptoms are managed rather than solved, and when care feels anything but personal. Seraphin was born out of a commitment to rise above that — to create a space where you are truly seen, heard, and cared for with the time and attention you deserve.

We Know the feeling and the fix
Kristen Martindale

Kristen Martindale

APRN, FNP-C

Kristen Martindale is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 10 years of clinical experience specializing in cardiology, where she developed a precise, compassionate approach to managing complex cardiovascular conditions. Her nursing roots run deep — spanning the cardiac intensive care unit and the plastic surgery post-anesthesia care unit — giving her a distinctive foundation in both acute critical care and an appreciation for aesthetic and restorative outcomes.
During her master’s program, Kristen minored in holistic nursing, deepening her commitment to integrative, whole-person care that honors the connection between mind, body, and spirit. Having witnessed the weight that unmanaged chronic conditions places on her patients over time, Kristen was drawn to a model of care focused on empowerment and prevention. Now at Seraphin in Nashville, she brings that same clinical rigor to personalized medical weight loss, aesthetics, and comprehensive women’s health — crafting individualized, evidence-based plans that help each patient feel confident, vital, and balanced.
Kristen’s guiding belief is that wellness is not a destination but a practice — and every patient deserves a partner who will walk that path alongside them.
Outside the clinic, she cherishes time with her family, stays active on the tennis court, and maintains a thoughtful skincare routine — a reflection of her belief in nurturing wellness at every level of life.
Marilyn Meyers

Marilyn Meyers

APRN, ACNP-BC

Marilyn Meyers is a board-certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner with 13 years of clinical experience across some of medicine’s most demanding specialties, including cardiac electrophysiology, plastic surgery, orthopedic oncology, and surgical oncology. Her extensive background has equipped her with a sharp, evidence-based approach to complex patient care and a deep understanding of how the body functions as an interconnected whole.
Marilyn earned her Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Louisiana State University before going on to complete her Master of Science in Nursing in Acute Care at Vanderbilt University School of Nursing — one of the nation’s leading nursing programs.
Having spent years at the bedside during some of the most critical moments in her patients’ lives, Marilyn witnessed firsthand what happens when underlying health issues go unaddressed for too long. That experience became her catalyst. Now practicing through the lens of functional medicine, she is driven by a singular mission: to identify and treat the root causes of illness before they become the emergencies she spent years managing in the hospital setting.
Marilyn approaches every patient with calm assurance — and when answers aren’t immediately clear, she is relentless in finding them. Her guiding belief is simple: no one deserves to feel suboptimal. Every patient deserves to feel and function at their very best, and she is committed to partnering with each individual to make that a reality.

Outside the clinic, Marilyn finds her greatest joy cheering on her two boys at their sporting events and savoring the everyday moments that come with raising a family. When she isn’t on the sidelines, you’ll find her at the mahjong table, working out, or spending quality time with her dog, Odie — all reflections of her belief that a life well-lived is the foundation of true wellness

Dr. Justine Zielinski

Dr. Justine Zielinski

MD

Dr. Justine Zielinski is a dual board-certified physician in Emergency Medicine and Pain Medicine, bringing a rare and powerful combination of acute care expertise and specialized interventional training to her patients. She completed her fellowship in Interventional Pain Medicine at the University of Virginia, where she developed advanced proficiency in spine and joint procedures, ultrasound-guided interventions, and multidisciplinary approaches to managing both chronic and acute pain — and she continues to actively practice interventional pain medicine today.
Dr. Zielinski earned her medical degree from Vanderbilt University, following her undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin. She completed her residency in Emergency Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin, where she was honored to serve as Chief Resident — a role that sharpened her foundation in procedural medicine, critical care, and patient advocacy in some of the most demanding clinical environments medicine has to offer.
Having spent years witnessing the profound toll that unmanaged pain takes on her patients’ quality of life, Dr. Zielinski was drawn to a model of care centered on listening, collaboration, and truly individualized treatment. She believes that understanding each patient’s full story — physical, emotional, and lifestyle — is the only way to build a care plan that creates lasting relief rather than temporary relief.
Her guiding belief is that no one should have to simply live with pain. Every patient deserves a partner who will take the time to understand where they are, where they want to be, and how to get there. Outside the clinic, Dr. Zielinski loves exploring Nashville’s restaurant scene and cherishes time at home with her husband and their three young children.
